Bounced Emails Report

Last Updated: May 29, 2026

The Bounced Emails report shows emails that have been sent from All-Star Rec Manager, but have been returned by the recipient for one reason or another. The purpose of the report is to inform the organization of emails addresses that are not correctly receiving emails so that they can make adjustments to the email address if necessary.

Running the Report

This report can be run using the Category “Communications” and the Subcategory “Bounced Emails.” The following filters can be used:

  • Date range

Additionally, the primary contact for each organization will receive an automated bounced emails report on Friday mornings with a list of any bounced emails occurring within the past week.

Hard Bounces

Hard bounces are returned emails that are flat out rejected by the recipient’s server. Some common reasons for these rejections are that the email address does not exist (most common), the recipient’s email server is blocking All-Star Rec Manager’s server, or the recipient has blocked All-Star Rec Manager from sending emails.

To prevent damage to All-Star Rec Manager’s sending reputation, it will stop trying to send an email to the recipient after three lifetime hard bounces. If you believe the issues have been resolved on an email address, you may reach out to us to remove the email from the blacklist.

Soft Bounces

Soft bounces are returned emails that weren’t flat our rejected, but were returned. Most often, these bounces occur when a recipient’s inbox is full.

To prevent damage to All-Star Rec Manager’s sending reputation, it will stop trying to send an email to the recipient after five soft bounces within the past 30 days.
