Create Raffle Tickets

This tutorial contains an overview of how to setup a raffle ticket event. From here on out, we will be referring to this as Raffle Tickets.


Raffle Tickets Overview

Raffle tickets allows you to sell raffle tickets. Below are the steps to create a Raffle Ticket event.


Create an Event

Go to the Store page, Products tab to create your event. Click the Add New button above the Products table to add a new product and then follow the steps below to setup your product as an advanced ticket.

  1. You may optionally upload a photo for your event

  2. Select Tickets for the Product Category

  3. Select the location for the event. If no locations appear in the drop-down, close the Add Product popup and go to the Locations tab on the Store page to add a Store Location.

  4. Enter the event name as the Product name

  5. Fill in the rest of the fields in the Product Info section

  6. The next section is the Ticket Info section. Select Raffle in the Ticket Seating drop-down.

  7. Set the minimum and maximum quantities fields to account for fees charged during online sales.

  8. To sell you tickets online, toggle the Sell Online switch to On and enter the dates the tickets are available for purchase.

The Variations table allows you to add ticket variations, although most raffle ticket events will only need one variation. To add additional variations, click the Add Variation button below the table.

  1. In the name field, enter the name of the variation

  2. If you want to track inventory for this variation, toggle the Track Inventory switch to On and enter the inventory in the Inventory field. The inventory will automatically update when tickets are purchased.

  3. In the price field, enter the price

Once all the required fields are filled in, click the Save button to save the event. The event will now appear in the Products table.


Share Your Event

Now that your event is completely setup, you may want to share it with the general public such as on social media. To share your event, locate it in the Products table. In the Actions column, you will see some icons.


Direct link: To copy the direct link to purchase tickets, click the Copy Link button.

QR code: To get a QR code with the direct link to purchase tickets, click the Get QR Code button and click Download in the popup window.


Note: If you want to send out a link with early access to tickets before the available dates you set in the online info section, navigate to the Website page, Early Access tab to create an early access link.


Public Access to Your Event

If you toggled the switch to sell tickets to your event online, then the public can search for your event and purchase tickets by going to All-Star Ticketing.


Ticket Numbers

When customers purchase tickets either online or at the gate, they will receive an email containing all their ticket numbers. If customers are unable to locate their tickets, this article explains how to pull them up and/or resend them.


Drawing a Winner(s)

To draw one or more winners, navigate to the Point-of-Sale page and click Tickets from the Quick Links menu. From the Ticket Events filter above the table, select the raffle ticket event. Click the Draw Ticket(s) icon below the table. The Ticket Draws popup window will appear. Click the Draw Ticket button below the table to draw a random ticket. The information contained in the table should give you everything you need to contact the winner. Click the Save button when you’re done drawing tickets.


Offering Discounts for Bulk Purchases

Use coupon codes to offer discounts on bulk ticket purchases rather than setting up additional variations since a variation will still only produce one ticket.
