The events calendar tab (and events table tab) on the League Events page allows you to create, view, and edit league events such as games or practices.
A league, season, division, and team must be setup to add league events.
Resource Types can be edited on the Preferences page, Events & Resources tab, Resource Types section.
League Event Types can be edited on the Preferences page, League tab, League Event Types section.
Official Positions can be edited on the Preferences page, League tab, Positions - Officials section.
Division: Event division.
Location/Resource: Event location and resource. This and the next item are important for billing purposes.
Resource Rate: Resource rate type for this event.
League Event Type: Event type for this event. A the event type Tournament is selected, an additional field will appear requiring you to select the tournament.
Tournament: Event tournament.
Event Start: Event start date and time.
Event End: Event end date and time.
Repeat: Make this event recurring.
Home Team
Note: To allow teams in different divisions to play against each other, enable the Interdivisional preference on the Preferences page, League tab, General Preferences section.
Away Team
Event Color: Color of the event on the league calendar.
Highlight: Enable to highlight the event in the schedule table on the league website.
Game Number: Create a unique game number for this event (if applicable).
Home Locker Room: Home team locker room (if applicable).
Away Locker Room: Away team locker room (if applicable).
Ticket Link: Link for fans to purchase tickets to this event (if applicable). This link will appear in the schedule table on the league website.
Video Link: Link for fans to watch this event (if applicable). This link will appear in the schedule table on the league website.
Manually add or adjust the score, number of penalties, penalty minutes, and result for the game. Similar to the scoresheet, you will need to click the Finalize Game button to actually finalize the game.
Note: Manually editing this information will not impact the individual goals or penalties recorded on the scoresheet. If the game was run through the electronic scoresheet, it is recommended to make changes on the electronic scoresheet.
Enter the officials or coaches for the event. You can track which positions are open/filled and how much each official/coach gets paid. Payables will be tracked and can be paid through All-Star Rec Manager using the Payouts feature.
It is not recommended to delete an event that has already taken place since the historical data tied to the event will become inaccessible. Events that have not already taken place can be deleted without any issues.
