The league preferences tab allows you to customize league features within All-Star Rec Manager.
League Website: Link to league website that will be included in all emails sent on behalf of the league.
League Email: Primary league email that will serve as the reply-to address on all emails sent on behalf of the league.
League Timezone: Timezone for the league.
Payment Card: The card you want to use to make automated billing payments. By selecting a card, you authorize All-Star Rec Manager to charge it in accordance with your contract.
Current Season: Current season for the league. Controls the data displayed on the Schedule and Stats and Subbing pages on the league website.
Standings Point System: Point system used to create standings.
Default Game Type: The default game type set in the Game Type filter on the league website.
Require USA Hockey Numbers: Enable to require a valid USA Hockey number for players to roster and sub.
Require US Figure Skating Number: Enable to require a valid US Figure Skating number for participants to register and sub.
Suspension from Game Misconduct: Enable to automatically create a suspension record when a player receives a game misconduct.
Interdivision Games: Enable to allow teams to compete against teams of a different division.
Periods: Number of periods in a game.
Period Length: Period length in minutes and seconds.
OT Length: Overtime length in minutes and seconds.
Game Length: Block of time (in minutes) allocated to each game. This is the default length of time used when creating games on the calendar.
Schedule automated emails to send to applicable participants at the scheduled frequency.

Active: Enable to activate the automatic emails.
Frequency:
Monthly: all records for the next month.
Weekly: all records for the next week.
Daily: all records the specified number of days in advance.
Time Unit:
Monthly: day of the month between 1 and 28.
Weekly: day of the week between Sunday and Saturday.
Daily: number of days in advance of the “event” between 1 and 7.
Time of Day: Hour of the day to send the emails.
Automatic Emails
Upcoming Games: Sent to players schedule for games. Registrants are auto-enrolled in these emails.
Upcoming Sub Spots: Sent to participants who sign up for the sub notification emails.
Note: If multiple records are available for a participant, they will all be included in one email. For example, when sending an upcoming games email, if the participant has multiple games within the specified timeframe, all games will be included in one email.
Schedule recurring report emails to send to applicable participants at the scheduled frequency. A report with the correct filters must be saved on the Reports page to set up a recurring report email. See the Emails - Auto section above for frequency information.
Schedule emails to automatically send when an applicable “event” occurs within the league in All-Star Rec Manager.
Game Misconduct Penalty: Sent when a game misconduct is recorded on the scoresheet. Triggers when the game is finalized.
Incident Report Email: Sent when an incident report email has been sent from the Incident Reports page.
Major Penalty: Sent when a major penalty is recorded on the scoresheet. Triggers when the game is finalized.
Match Penalty: Sent when a match penalty is recorded on the scoresheet. Triggers when the game is finalized.
Misconduct Penalty: Sent when a misconduct is recorded on the scoresheet. Triggers when the game is finalized.
Send League Communications: Sent when an email communication has been scheduled to send from the Communications page, Emails tab.
Sub Request Form Submission: Sent when a sub request form is submitted.
Sub Request Approval: Sent when a sub request is approved.
Team Rating Cap Overage: Sent when a team is over the cap for the game. Triggers when the game is finalized.
Used to differentiate between different types of events on the schedule and standings. The Type column is used to determine whether a league event should have a score assigned to it and whether to show it in the header bar on the league website. League events marked as Game/Match will show in the header bar on the league website. League events marked as Other will not show in the header bar and will not allow adding a score.

Track Sub Requests: Enable to allow submission of sub requests.
Auto Approve Sub Requests: Enable to automatically approve valid sub requests. Invalid sub requests will require manual approval unless Deny Sub Requests option is enabled.
Auto Deny Sub Requests: Enable to automatically deny invalid sub requests.
Auto Charge Sub Fee: Enable to automatically charge sub players sub fees when their sub request is approved.
Add Balance to Approval Email: Enable to add player outstanding balances to the approved sub request emails.
Sub Fee Account Code: The account code assigned to sub fees.
Set subbing fees per position and player type.
Create list of people who are exempt from paying sub fees.
Allow Click to Player Profiles: Enable to allow clicking on a name on the Stats page to view player profile.
Child Name Preferences: Set the way child names are displayed on the league website.
Child Photo Preferences: Enable to show the child’s photo on league website.
Child Age & Birthdate Preference: Enable to show the child’s age/birthdate on league website.
Primary Color: Header bar color on league website.
