Clean Up Time (minutes): Amount of time (in minutes) near the end of a reservation to perform clean-up tasks. This time will be included in the confirmation customers receive when their resource request is approved. For example, the time it takes to clean the ice surface.
You can set a variety of rates for resource usage depending on the day of the week and/or time of day. For the time of day, there is only an option for a start time and not an option for an end time. This is to prevent time gaps. Below are some additional notes to prevent time gaps:
For the day of the week, you either need to select All or you need to have a separate row for each day of the week.
The first start time for a given day list should always be 12:00 AM.
See the Charging for Resources article for additional information about how and when receivables are created for resource usage.
Note: Since resources are tied to products, the amount column pulls directly from the assigned product variation. To make updates to this amount, change it on the Store page, Products tab.
Note: The tables includes the ability to set a different daily max per rate type. The daily max should be the same for each rate type on a given day. If it is not, the daily max in the first row on that day will be used.
The seating charts feature allows you to create a seating chart for your resource, such as an arena, so that you can sell tickets for reserved seats. When you click Add Seating Chart, a popup window will appear allowing you to use the chart builder to create the seating chart. Once you are done editing the seating chart, click the X in the upper right-hand corner of the popup window to exit the seating chart. Here are a few notes on seating charts:
Seating chart updates are automatically saved. If you have already sold tickets for your seating chart, any additional updates you make to the chart will need to be “published” to be effective. It is recommended that you do not change your seating chart once you’ve begun selling tickets to an event.
To change the name of the seating chart, click the name in the upper left corner of the seating chart window.
Seating chart categories are used when setting up the ticket product, so be sure you create all the categories in the seating chart. Seating chart categories can be used to create different prices for tickets, such as an adult price and a student price.
Once you create a new seating chart, you will be unable to delete it. This is to prevent the possibility of losing tickets. If you would like a seating chart removed from your account, contact us to remove it.
To delete a resource, check the box next to the record in the table and click the Delete icon below the table. A popup window will appear to confirm you want to delete it, and if so, click Delete. Once deleted, the record cannot be recovered.
Note: Resources assigned to events, games, etc. will be removed if the resource is deleted, but the event, game, etc. will not be deleted. Resource requests associated with the resource will also be removed. Receivables and payables associated with the resource will not be removed. It is suggested to simply deactivate the resource rather than deleting it to avoid losing all this additional data.
