This tutorial contains an overview of how to scan tickets at the gate for events at the gate. Any smart device with an internet connection and a camera such as a phone, tablet, or computer can be used to scan tickets.
Anyone with administrator access, cashiers, and ticket scanners have access to the Ticket Scanner page.
To access the ticket scanner page, click Ticket Scanner from the main menu. Another window will open. Select the event for which you want to scan tickets and select the camera you want to use. To scan a ticket, click the Scan Ticket button and a view from your camera will appear. Hold the ticket up to your camera and it will automatically scan the QR code on the ticket.
Invalid ticket: There is no matching ticket in the database.
This ticket is not for this event: The scanned ticket is not for the event for which it was scanned.
This ticket has already been used: The ticket has already been scanned.
Ticket successfully scanned: The ticket is valid and the customer has been successfully scanned in to the event.
