The online store tab on the Store page allows organizations to manage their online stores.


Purpose of Online Stores

An online store can be used to sell products online.


Customization

The Preferences page contains a tab dedicated to the store.


  • Convenience Fees for Online Sales allow organizations to charge customers for the fees associated with online orders.

  • Online Order Admin Emails allows emails to be sent to admins when an online order is placed.

  • Online Order Confirmations allows organizations to include specific details in the confirmation emails when a customer makes an online purchase.


Product Fields

General Product Fields

  • Store Title: The title of the online store.

  • Store Name: Name of the online store with no spaces. Name must be unique from other stores in All-Star Rec Manager.

    • Note: The store name is in the URL, so changing the store name will change the store URL.

  • Store Location: The store location which can be set on the Store page, Locations tab.

  • Edit Homepage: A popup window will appear where you can edit the store homepage. See below for additional details on editing the store homepage.


Fulfillment Methods

  • Order Pickups: Enable to allow customers to pick-up orders. This is currently the only fulfillment method.

  • Pickup Instructions: Instructions for customers picking up their orders.


Store Policies

  • Returns & Exchange Policy: Create the store’s Returns & Exchanges policy.

  • Cancellations Policy: Create the store’s cancellations policy.

  • Note: Store policies will appear on the Store Policies page of your store, along with a list of the accepted types of cards.


Get the Store Link and QR Code

Once the online store is saved, it will appear in the Online Stores table. Click the Copy Link or Get QR Code icons in the Actions column of the table to copy the link or download the QR code for the store.


Editing the Store Homepage

The basic page builder tool enables building a homepage for the online store. Below are basic instructions for using the page builder tool and recommendations for useful fields.


Using the Page Builder Tool

  1. Add a layout

  2. Select a layout option

  3. Edit the layout styling settings (to edit the styling settings later, hover over the layout and click the edit icon to the right of the layout)

  4. Click in the new layout to add content

  5. Select a field type

  6. Edit the field settings and click save (to edit the field settings later, hover over the field and click the edit icon)


Recommended Fields

  • Banner: add a slideshow of photos and text over the photos to showcase your brand and/or products.

  • Products: add a grid of the three “Best Seller” products. Best sellers are based on total sales of the product through both the point-of-sale and online stores.

  • Paragraph: add styled text to the page.

  • Button: add a button that links to another page in the store or another website.


Online Store Orders

Orders will appear in the Orders table on the Point-of-Sale page. Click here to read more about viewing and managing orders.
