This tutorial walks through how to view and manage ticket sales.
Navigate to the Point of Sale page. From the Quick Links menu, click the Tickets button. A popup will appear with a list of tickets that have been sold.
The tickets table comes with a ticket event filter which allows the user to select a specific event (product) they want to view.
Note: To view custom fields associated with a ticket event, you must select the ticket event from the filter. When viewing all tickets events, custom fields will not show up in the table since they may be different per event.
To edit a ticket, click the row from the table of the record you want to edit and a popup window will appear with the details of the ticket. From here, you may edit the name, phone, and email of the person who purchased the ticket.
Note: If you change the email address, you must save the record before resending the ticket.
Note: If you change any of this information, it will also be changed for all other tickets placed on the same order since this information is connected to the order rather than to individual tickets.
To resend a ticket, check the box next to the ticket(s) you want to resend and click the Resend Ticket icon below the table.
To print a ticket, check the box next to the ticket(s) you want to print and click the Print Ticket icon below the table. PDF's of the ticket(s) will open and you can print from your PDF viewer.
Note: If multiple tickets purchased by the same individual are selected, they will be grouped together in the same PDF.
To draw one or more tickets, such as for a raffle, select the ticket event from the Ticket Events filter and then click the Draw Ticket(s) icon below the table. The Ticket Draws popup window will appear. Click the Draw Ticket button below the table to draw a random ticket. The information contained in the table should give you everything you need to contact the winner. Click the Save button when you’re done drawing tickets.
See our article titled Refunding Purchases for additional information on issuing refunds for tickets.
