The public page links tab on the Website page allows organizations to create links to their public pages, including the ability to preset specific filters and track link views and conversions.
Title: Title of the link for your reference.
Page: Page associated with the link.
Filters: After selecting a page, the appropriate filters will appear. See below for additional information.
Track: Enable to track when this link is viewed. See below for additional information.
When you're setting up links, you have the option to set up filters in the links. For example, on the Events Calendar you may want to take customers to a calendar that shows them the ice schedule for a certain sheet of ice. To do this, you would preset the Location and Resource filter to that sheet of ice so that customers don't have to manually change these filters themselves.
The links you create on this page can optionally be used to track views and conversions. A view is registered when someone lands on a page from one of these links regardless of whether it's through a button click or scanning a QR code. A conversion is registered when the person follows through with the intended action. For example, if the link goes to a form, then a conversion will be registered if someone successfully fills out and submits the form. The views and conversions can be viewed as a report under the Website category and Link Conversions subcategory.
To copy a public page link, click the Copy Link icon in the Actions column of the table for the row with the link you want to copy.
To generate a public page link QR code, click the Get QR Code icon in the Actions column of the table for the row with the link for which you want to create a QR code. A popup will appear with a QR code that can be downloaded.
To delete a public page link, check the box next to the record in the table and click the Delete icon below the table. A popup window will appear to confirm you want to delete it, and if so, click Delete. Once deleted, the record cannot be recovered.
